100% organic ingredients in all our products
Our entire product range contains only natural and organic ingredients. We source these ingredients from suppliers with a special focus on organic farming and sustainability. We do this because we believe that through organic agriculture, we contribute to creating more fertile soil, reducing the use of pesticides, and at the same time, taking care of our groundwater and the nature we all share.
Wind Energy, Climate Initiatives, and Reforestation
We aim to minimize our environmental impact while also enhancing both production and investment in sustainable energy. Therefore, we have:
100% Wind Energy
Transitioned our entire energy consumption to CO2-neutral energy generated from Danish wind power. The electricity we use is matched 100% with a certificate of origin for wind energy from Danish wind turbines. This way, we receive electricity with no CO2 emissions while also investing in the development and transition to renewable wind energy.
Climate Initiatives
Through our energy provider, we invest not only in wind energy but also in a range of climate initiatives that further reduce global CO2 emissions. We support optimization projects that promote sustainability in other parts of the world, typically in developing countries. These initiatives also contribute to improving the quality of life and/or development of local communities in the affected project areas.
Reducing CO2
In collaboration with our energy provider, we plant 200 new trees each year in Denmark to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere. The KLIMAskov initiative focuses on both CO2 sequestration and biodiversity, as the trees absorb CO2 throughout their lifetime and provide habitat for various animals, helping to slow the decline in biodiversity. The 200 trees that Biosa helps plant each year will absorb more than 400% of the CO2 we expect our electricity consumption to emit this year. As a company, we do what we can to make as many sustainable choices as possible for the benefit and enjoyment of our shared environment.

Recycled and Recyclable Packaging
For our production, we use bottles made from at least 50% recycled plastic (RPET) to reduce the amount of plastic waste. We encourage everyone to recycle every single bottle after use. This way, we can keep the recycled plastic in circulation. All the cardboard we use is produced from recycled paper as much as possible - and of course, it can be recycled again.
